Piexol is a mixture contatining irritant that is unpleasant but will not induce any lasting harm on humans. The derivative is obtained from the resin oil of the Tabasco plant (Capsicum frutescens) and fired using a carrier fluid of benzyl alcohol. Oversimplified you can imagine it as a super-hot version of Tabasco sauce. The consistency is viscous, rather than slimy.

To dispose of a Guardian Angel or JPX canister, we recommend that you find an outdoor area, where you can discharge the charges in a safe manner. Be aware that the area, where you discharge the device, will still be contaminated with irritant for a while, so be sure that it’s in a place, where no animals or humans will get in contact with the irritant. Pull the trigger 10 times to make sure all charges are fired. After discharging make sure to wash your hands with soap to prevent any unpleasant contact with the irritant.
Yes, our products will still work in that case. When hit in the face the irritant will run down the attacker’s face and get into the eyes. The effect of the irritant might take slightly longer than normal to set in.

To maintain the full effectiveness of the irritant inside your device, store it at room temperature, in a dry place, and protected from heat. If storage in such an environment is not possible, the irritant might lose potency quicker, but it should be still good until the expiration date.
