Piexon AG was founded in 1999 as a start-up company on the award winning JET PROTECTOR® technology. Co-Founded by Juerg Thomann and Raphael Fleischhauer, two graduate Swiss engineers, Piexon’s core know-how is the pyrotechnic launching of liquids through complex nozzle systems. As the world's pioneer Piexon holds several fundamental patents for this particular technology. In a very short time Piexon has developed a range of outstanding unique products in the following fields:

• handheld high performance irritant jet launchers for
  personal protection

• fixed installation irritant protection systems for the
  active safeguarding of sensitive goods

• high pressure impulse fire extinguishing systems

For its innovative products and the outstanding technology in the field of pyrotechnics Piexon has received several important awards in Switzerland including the Swiss Technology Award 2001 and 2003 and the De Vigier Award for a leading business proposal.

Piexon’s revolutionary personal protection and defence products were very quickly accepted by professional users including Law Enforcement units, Prison authorities, Military units, Private Security Agencies as well as by the general public. Our two-shot GUARDIAN ANGEL® product became a bestseller due to its superior performance and reliability compared with the familiar pepper spray canister.
